Welcome to my website!
Hi! I’m Jessica Walker Sanchez, and I’m a current student at the University of Michigan-Flint. At UM-F I’m studying Computer and Information Systems, with a concentration in Web and Mobile Information Systems. I plan to graduate in 2015, and so far I’ve been awarded 4 scholarships.
I’m also a graduate of the Library and Information Science Program at Wayne State University. I completed my Master of Library and Information Science degree in May of 2008. While at school I was the president of Student Organizations of Library and Information Science (SOLIS), was awarded 7 scholarships, and completed a Master Level Certification in Microsoft Office.
My concentration at Wayne State was Information Science, which allowed me to get some excellent experience at Kettering University in Flint, Michigan. I also have experience in public libraries – for example, I headed the Adult Computer Literacy Program at Melvindale Public Library, and was an intern at Baldwin Public Library in Birmingham, MI. For more information on my experience as a librarian, please contact me.
Feel free to take a look around my website in order to learn more about me. I wouldn’t say there’s a plethora of information, but you’ll get the general idea.
